What you get with Pro
A portrait stitched at 200 × 250 stitches does not fit on one sheet of paper, and a chart you cannot read is useless on the hoop. Pro exports the PDF at any size and splits it into numbered pages with a few rows of overlap and a page map, so you always know which part of the design you are working on. The chart is a vector PDF with real text symbols, so it stays sharp when you zoom in on a tablet or print it at home.
Pro raises the limit from 30 to 80 colors, which matters for photos of faces, skies and pets where subtle shading needs more thread colors. You choose the chart style for the PDF: symbols only (cheap to print in black and white), color blocks, or symbols on color. The shopping-list CSV lists every DMC, Anchor, Madeira or bead code with its stitch count and the skeins, drills or beads to buy, ready to open in a spreadsheet or take to the shop. Saved projects keep your photo settings in this browser so you can come back to a design later.
Pro runs in your browser exactly like the free tool: your photos are never uploaded, and nothing needs an account.

Why a one-time price
A chart is something you make when you start a project, not every day, so a monthly plan would keep charging you in the weeks you spend stitching. Pro is a single payment that unlocks the Pro features in your browser for good. The payment also keeps the site independent: no advertising, no tracking cookies and no paywall in front of the free tools or the color library.

Pricing questions
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro will be $14 one-time: you pay once and keep the Pro features, with no renewal and nothing to cancel.
When can I buy Pro?
Pro opens soon. Use the "Get Pro" button to reserve the founder price: no payment is taken now. Checkout will be handled by Stripe once Pro opens.
I use several devices. What happens there?
Pro will be stored in the browser you buy it in, because the site has no accounts. Buy it in the browser you use most; if you switch devices, contact us with your receipt.
Can I get a refund?
Once Pro is on sale, the same promise applies to every purchase: If Pro does not do what you need, reply to your receipt within 14 days for a full refund.
What stays free?
Everything you need for a small or medium project: any photo, a chart preview up to 150 cells wide, up to 30 colors, the full color key with codes, counts and skein, drill or bead estimates, a PNG download and a PDF up to 60 × 60 cells. Every color page and conversion chart is free as well.
Are my photos uploaded when I use Pro?
No. Free and Pro both run in your browser. The photo is read and processed on your device and is never sent to a server.
Does Pro work for diamond painting and fuse beads too?
Yes. The same limits and exports apply to every craft in the pattern maker: cross stitch with DMC, Anchor or Madeira, diamond painting with DMC drill numbers, and Perler, Hama, Artkal or Nabbi beads.
